Catch ratio out front versus 4x4 spots

With the closures, I'm curious how many people catch along the stretch of beaches open to the public. In my own head, I can't get away from the comfort of going to certain spots accessible by 4x4 but thanks to our overlords protecting a species that some countries call dinner, here we are. This is not a post asking for spots, I know the spots, just curious about your experiences hooking up in open surf that's accessible from parking lots.

Where do you go when the lights go out?

If the right bait with the right wind is there it’ll have half of the south shore hooking up. Many of the same structures like the cuts/rips/jettys on our 4x4 beaches can be duplicated at other parking lot/walking locations so I wouldn’t get too hung up on that but yeah don’t get me started on closures… we’ve all had enough.

Probably also depends on what kind of shape you’re in and how much searching/walking you’re willing to or capable of doing.

Its alot easier to drive 4 miles worth of beach looking for the right structure than it is walk it and find it. And alot easier to jump spot to spot until you find the fish.

I catch by walking to the same spots I would drive to but now its even better with less people.
