biting again today. Caught 43 on sand fleas and one 2lb 8oz pompano. The weather was beautiful and I was surprised that the water had cleaned up, after the blow yesterday. I battled 35 to 40 NE winds on Sunday from 6am till 10:30 before the seaweed moved in. It was absolutely brutal. I can tolerate the wind, current, and sandblasting but the seaweed is not tolerable to me.

Grilled pork chops with corn on the cob and red skin potato salad for some of my fishing buddies Monday night.  Thanks for reading.

Those whiting "sea mullet" look a lot like west coast corbina.  Our corbina love to east soft shell sand crabs.  I use an orange bead near my hook to emulate roe and help get their attention.

Nice catching... it sounds like tons of fun!
