Hook I
You might be missing out on an excellent finesse bait presentation = think Small Mouth but also opens the jaw of other aggressive eaters I don’t fish them shoreline but from the boat I don’t use a special set up but to change the floro leader to the very lightest I can get away with . Examples over weeds, deep findings , sand ,gravel , boulders so you have to change it up it’s an easy long leader uni to uni tie on . Weighted I don’t need more than 1/2 oz I like 1/16 , 1/8 , 1/4 will do . Snap or crawl is fine , knowing when to where those Craws are is a good place those big fish will be . Anybody ? vce12342000 1 If it has fins i want to catch it

Bkich
Use them all the time on the Great Lakes for smallmouth. Most popular is probably any that are green pumpkin. They are made by all the big companies now a days. Hook I
chrome sweet chrome
I only used tube jigs once because a really cool guy named, Chris Brown sent me a care package of his jigs and a few spoons also. I went out to the American River and there was a pretty good bait blitz. I made 12 casts and landed 8 stripers to 7# and then lost the jig. The jigs have caught much bigger stripers as well as hundreds of big halibut, salmon and even steelhead... The builder/owner's name is Chris Brown and his Facebook page is Bigfoot Bait Company. I had posted a link but I guess that was a no-no so it was removed (sorry Tim). Chris is a super nice and bad-ass but humble fisherman... Skunkoff 1 LET THE PIGS PROPAGATE
