Busted in the canal

Saw a few things this weekend that were real eye rollers. For example, some dumbazz kids driving a junker street sedan onto a deep sand beach and immediately getting stuck. Needless to say, copious amounts of adult beverages were involved. So dumb it was comical.

Found this funny. Don't 7 of them have a brain?

Hey now, they're in casting range. ;)

For me, anyway. Dunno about the dude on the rock. I'd put a crap plug with no hooks 2' in front of one of them.

Wonder what they did with them?

and yes, they have no brains.

I don't think they got caught. They were last seen heading towards Onset. They could easily outrun that patrol boat. Maybe not some of the Coasties' chase boats.

You never know.

A few years ago, I watched two teens drive their jeeps to the end of the western jetty at Shinnecock Canal. Both vehicles were dangling over the edge of the rocks, on a falling tide. If they'd slipped in, there's no way that the kids would ever have been recovered.

It seems like a silly rule. I’m sure jet skis are more capable of navigating the canal than some of the small boats and sailboats I’ve seen.

There should be an open season on jet skis.    Allow properly licensed fisherman 6 per year.  Season open from May 1st to October.    Bag limit is 1 per day.

Does anyone know where the love of God goes when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
