Terry Mac
I’m no fan, but dam. Good on them. Miami, F that town and their fans. splions 1 The village, which had stood for maybe 1,000 years, didn't know we were coming that day. If they had, they would have run. boB was at the eye of our rage. And through him, our Captain Ahab. He would set things right again. That day, we loved him.
Gotcow?
Don't mean squat if they don't win game 7. if they play a full 60 minutes without taking a quarter off they might just win. They really did get lucky last night. Edited May 28 by Gotcow?

They really did get lucky last night. Miami snatched victory from the jaws of defeat...but opted to play catch and release with it...lol. It's hard to like this Celtics team. They seem a lot like the Roger Clemens era Boston Red Sox (i.e. 25 players, 25 cabs). In any regard, absolutely no one was on Derrick White from the very start of that play. He had an absolutely free, uncontested path to the basket for that tip in. The coach of the Miami Heat said they were only concerned with not allowing Jayson Tatum to get the ball, and wasn't concerned with anything else. That cost them. Of course the ball still had to bounce the right way on the missed shot from Smart. But with only 3 seconds left on the clock, and the Celtics still being three point shot happy, the Heat really played that as poorly as they possibly could. Celtics were only down by one and only needed a two point basket for the win (ironically they ultimately got that). Jayson Tatum's shooting was cold...and if I were Miami, I'd rather let him throw up the brick he was likely to throw. Yes, he's a true superstar...but if I had the chance to pick your own team from the top 10 superstars in this league, he'd be the last one I pick. How many times did he throw up bricks, get his pocket picked, etc in this series. Yet he's going to be remembered from the one of small handful of lights out games (against both Philly and Miami) he's been able to muster. Bird, Magic, Jordan, Kobe Bryant and others were regularly at the top of their game when it counted. Funny listening to the commentators after the game - Charles Barkley seemed to think that despite the win, and forcing game 7, it's the Celtics who should be more concerned on Monday night....given the way they choked away the game in the final moments. For what it's worth, Shaq thought otherwise....believing that the having a sure fire win snatched away with .02 seconds left can leave a lasting mark. And the Celtics woes seem self inflicted with these big lapses they fall into. Admittedly, I believe if they put together a 48 minute effort, they beat Miami easy Monday night. But I question whether that can happen Gotcow?

albacized
Celtics are laying an egg tonight - basically for the very reasons I stated above. Edited May 30 by albacized
phishallways
I have wood listening to this Celtic crash at home. God bless America. I'll ignore your cheap aroma, and your little-bo-peep diploma, I'll just put you in a coma, with some dirty love-
splions
I don’t watch much basketball but thought this would be a good one to watch. What a horrible performance. Three pointers were not dropping; why not try something else? Poor defense. It looked like they were unprepared. I blame the coach. You can’t just sit there and let it happen…do something! phishallways
That said, Nikolai and the Nuggets will make easy work of the Heat. 4-1 is my guess. Gotcow?
Pathetic performance, especially at home. They played like a team that was beaten before they took the floor. Boston sports fans have nothing to look forward to now. Sox Suck Patriots are mediocre at best. Edited May 30 by Gotcow?
