Bushleague
I'm in the market for a casting rod in the 9-11 foot range (not totally set on a specific length) that I can use to throw lures in the 3/4-2 oz range. I have a couple of 8' rods that do this nicely but I'd like to get something longer. All the longer casting or conventional rods I'm finding find are rated far too stiff to throw my favorite lures. Any suggestions would be welcome. Thanks. Edited May 26 by Bushleague
ecks
I would check out Salmon/Steelhead rods for that range.

I have a few spinning reels on MH S/S rods, and my one beef with them is that the handles are always shorter than I'd like. ecks
