That exactly how I imagine people who complain and do nothing while waiting for someone else to fix what's broken. You are attacking the wrong dude. It would be great if we didn't have to witness what's been happening but that's not the case. And this is much bigger than just poaching some fish. So just sit back and complain and call people like me out. I'm good with it

Sorry Tim for upsetting you. I can't sit back and watch.  I can't not say anything to these guys calling me out the way they have. I'm wondering if they aren't related to this guy on FB

I see it myself, day after day, year after year. The same cast of characters.

Prime tides, they show up, take over.  Lots of fish being caught, lots of confusion. Fish flopping all over,  in the rocks, sand and parking lot.  Everyone seems to be walking around with fish, both dead and alive, even guys who weren't even fishing. Then there's always a guy with a large black garbage bag, walking around, stuffing fish in it, only to run them back to his car and make a hasty getaway.

This goes on in plain sight, they know all too well the chance of them getting caught is basically non existent.

It's to crazy for 1 guy to show up and do anything.

I'm thinking the state can generate more money from fines  and then use that money to not fix our roads...

Ok Kenny let explain how it works. Being retired fro NYS prison system I'm no stranger to what it takes. We put together over 3 dozen like minded sports men and long time citizens, and that was the first year. Year 3 now. So yes I've "seen" several take a swim. No help is coming. Fix it yourselves or shut the f up.

We romanticize stories of the old timers policing themselves, throwing people in the canal, etc but you want to do something to the new group of poachers and you’re suddenly a racist. WTF.

How do you get these people to pay the fine? They are going to claim no ID, no English, etc. If the govt gives them everything else in life for free then why can’t they take some free fish? Have you guys heard about the hotels in southeast MA that have been turned into housing for migrants? There’s one in Taunton and a few others I heard about. I think there’s a bigger issue at hand than just the fish.

When I was in college old timers used to threaten to throw me in the canal  just for having long hair.
