As always, this is the place for your reports... as little or as much detail as you care to share, with hopefully a good bit less focus posted on exact spots, times, and locations. Any and all word from the local waters welcome here, and "no fish" reports are welcome as well; always good to have gotten out there at least, wasn't it?  ;)

Sorry for the late post... Spring is officially here!

Everyone will be trying to figure out this new layout for a while..

Did some Bass and Snakehead fishing with my daughter this past weekend for a few hours and had fun,  they are hungry!

Friday and Saturday Afternoon out front. Grabbed some frozen finger mullet and fish bites at Bucks. Nothing for me but Dad got a 38" with a flea on the incoming late Friday afternoon. Good to see Possum and Catskill John.

Youth sports have officially taken over multiple spring and fall trips.  I’ve traded time on the sand for time in the streams around home, new fishing gear for new LAX/Baseball Equipment, but it’s good to get down for a few Father/kid trips.

My friend’s son with his first big fish landed solo.  The smiles say it all.  We had 6 Stripers over 36”, 5 drum, a doggy, and ~7,378 skates Thursday through Saturday.   It was good to catch up with a few old SOL buddies and bend a few rods.

Had the opportunity to be on the beach fishing all last week. Was good to see some friends and hear some stories. Besides skates, and a southern ray, I did have a nice tail slapping on the beach to make my day on Cinco de Mayo :)

I hadn’t been on the beach for 2 1/2 yrs. Felt good!

One thing I noticed, the beach was spotless. Only trash was a small piece of thin plastic and a container lid. No balloons!!! Couldn’t even find a balloon ribbon string to tie to a sand spike for a wind vane. Guess that’s a good thing!

ASSUME NOTHING

All kinds of nice catches coming out of OC and DE and very few if any shown here. Trout, flounder, tautog, bass, drum, everything.

That's how I like it...lol
