DeeMonee
Late report yesterday evening. Short outing beautiful weather. Saw a whale feeding on bunker and a weird looking osprey flying towards me and when it flew above I realized it was a bald eagle. Pretty cool. Lost 1 on the pick up and landed a 27” at a second spot. Beautiful weather continues this AM, light N wind, end of outgoing into the flip. Whales and dolphins feeding on bunker. Just a couple of bait stealing fish. Moving more north later or tomorrow. saltyh2ofly
My friend @preacher with a nice fly caught striper. Lots of follows but then no commitment. Switched up the retrieve and we both landed a striper. Wind had died way down, clean water, dropping tide but no visible bait. @Domer had fish the day before on a mole crab fly: three bass one fluke. Popular Post MC55
Much more comfortable out there this morning with the wind backing off. Still looking at very fishy water as the surf continues to kick up. Found one small fish early and then for a while there I didn't think I would get another one to the sand. Hooked up 4 times and after a nice fight with each of them they all came unbutton, ARGH! Thought it was going to be one of those mornings. Luckly had a few more chances finishing up with 5 including a 26, 28 and 30 incher. Surfratiam, GeoffT, encavale and 9 others 11

MVTee
The spring continues to be baffling. 1-2 on 2lbs bluefish then nadda. Switched to the surf and floated clams for the entire incoming - 1 dog for our efforts. Moved south and found 1 more bluefish that came unbuttoned. SOMC, 730-3am. Observed small bass under some dock lights being generally uncooperative. Saw approximately 1 small spearing. DeeMonee
MattieG
I got out tonight, out back in OC. I hadn’t been out in a bit. Fished tonight’s incoming high. Was out about 11pm to 3am-ish. Went for weakfish but the cow nose rays, and sharks we saw must of scared them away. Did get 2 keeper sized fluke which I released. I wasn’t expecting the fluke bite in this location, and I really didn’t want to clean a fish and my gear when I got home at 4am. Probably will regret that decision tomorrow at dinner time. bdowning, adobo and East Coaster
MC55
Another morning when they didn't want to stay on the hook. A lot of the hits lately have been very tentative and non-committal which I think leads to lighter hook-ups. Even with that did put 4 on the sand but nothing bigger than 26 inches. Beautiful morning to be out there. nam1969, adobo, encavale and 7 others 9
