It’s the same blank as the night ranger. Just eva grip’s and SiC guides. That nano carbon blank I heard is super strong. I’ll be trying it out midweek. Thanks for the advice guys. I tried out this rod yesterday. It is a really nice rod. Great value for what I spent. I be leave it has the balls for a slob. Mike

Steve Call St Croix see what they say, all they can say is no., they have a 5 year warranty period. Can you see the serial number ?? or are the custom grips covering it ?? Have a receipt ?? Tags ?? There is an art to a complaint, be really nice and complimentary when you call., not like Mick, and tell them what you told us, but tell them it was YOU not your buddy, and how much you liked to rod etc, You may be surprised, good luck. I can’t believe it. St croix will send me another one. That’s customer service. Kml, autonomos, ReeferRob and 2 others

Steve_M
I can’t believe that st croix didn’t even care how the rod broke. They just wanted 3 pictures of the rod. Then I had to pay $60. They had to paint it up then it’s on its way. But it’s blank only being it was a custom.
