I know I’m in the right place. My buddy fell and broke my St Croix legend, extreme. I had it for a few years. I know he feels bad. I really liked it. I have a 3000 twin power on it. Is there anything else as good? I usually use 1 1/2 S&S jigs.

Before you call St. Croix, give your buddy a kick to the groin.

Did any of you guys ever try a jigging world spinning rod? I haven’t seen one in person. If so I was wondering how you like it.

Yes, I have the nexus? I have to check. Used it in RI for Jigging Tog . Very light and it has balls,  $140.00

I actually bought it late in the season on a whim, wanted a super light spinning rod, for jigging fluke. Figured I get a chance to put it through its paces in RI, unlike mick, it did not dissapoint.

I have a nexus and a night ranger. Both are great your decision is just dollars.

The nexus is eva foam grips and the night ranger is cork.

You can get two of each for the price of a St Croix elite

I’m going today to check them out. I like that 2 for the price 1. We still have 2 weeks left here in NJ. Thanks for the help

See if you can find Yong to show you rods. Night Ranger,  Shogun, Nexus act like regular action rods. Black Widow, Ghost hunter are slow pitch action. Then they have new tech hybrid rods. I haven't fished those yet.

If you are in NJ and south of the raritan river there is a shop in Neptune called Fisherman's Source. They have a good lineup of the jigging world stuff.

I came home with a Jigging World Hybrid. It seems like a nice rod. It’s the same blank as the night ranger. Just eva grip’s and SiC guides. That nano carbon blank I heard is super strong. I’ll be trying it out midweek. Thanks for the advice guys.
