Steve_M
I know I’m in the right place. My buddy fell and broke my St Croix legend, extreme. I had it for a few years. I know he feels bad. I really liked it. I have a 3000 twin power on it. Is there anything else as good? I usually use 1 1/2 S&S jigs.

LOL I keep the lower grade rods as loaners. Steve Call St Croix see what they say, all they can say is no., they have a 5 year warranty period. Can you see the serial number ?? or are the custom grips covering it ?? Have a receipt ?? Tags ?? There is an art to a complaint, be really nice and complimentary when you call., not like Mick, and tell them what you told us, but tell them it was YOU not your buddy, and how much you liked to rod etc, You may be surprised, good luck. This never seems to work . If we had one of the smaller boats available dragging eels at night would be a better choice. With wind and current its hard to find and stop fish without constantly moving the boat. It is a PIA there, even without boat traffic. Plug at night. I'll be complimentary here, just for you. You're a dickhead, but you're a very nice dickhead. And, you're very artful while being a dickhead. mickrazz
I've paid a lot for my rods, but never 700. And if I did I would never lend it to anyone. ReeferRob 1 The Magnificent Presence
EliasA
st Croix's warranty is really really solid, so they may offer to replace it with an off the rack model for a surcharge. generally if you break one of their rods you can submit a warranty claim and they'll replace it, but you have to pay a portion of the rods price and shipping. It being a custom rod may affect the warranty process, but theres only one way to find out.
