HoldMyBass
How are you rigging the yozuri twitch bait ?? 1 ounce and the 1 3/4 i matched the front treble with a VMC treble and tried an inline single on the back…. Heard a few mention not liking the action with the single back. I didn’t do well with them when others did around me..

LSP552
On the 1oz, I have been pleased with 4/0 Owner 3X single replacement hooks. Googs, cjmarti3, BWalsh and 1 other

Anyone ever give these things a canal rig?? I still prefer a belly treble on my plugs and just crush the barbs down.
Kooky
1oz gets a 1/0 VMC treble in the front with a 3/0 single tied siwash in the back, 1 3/4 gets a 2/0 VMC in front and a 4/0 tied siwash in the back. I have been very successful when nothing else is catching with this set up. In my experience the fish love to hit these when you pause, slow retrieve with twitches ( preferably in light to med current), and a pause. I could see a lot of missed fish with in-lines, but that is just my thought i have not tried it. These are some of the first and last plugs out of my back in certain scenarios. yogiiiboy
I use singles with every size i have ........from 1/2 to the 1 3/4 oz., they catch unbelievably in the surf. I've had days when that small 1/2 oz. version has killed fluke up close in the wash BWalsh and Seakarp
The Riddler
Thats a nice plug for the single belly , naked or just a flag out of the rear? Will give that plug a shot. I likey.
DonLBI
99% of the time I put a dressed siwash on the rear. Creates the same (or close to it) drag as a treble therefore a similar action on the plug. kjmaj26 1 I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy. beerdoh
I do a VMC treble up front and inline single in the rear. Very productive plug during the herring run. Kooky

Never tried these, but they look sweet! What are the different lengths on these, Kooky? Do you have a preference?

It could be the hook setup change that cut back on the bites but that's a bait you want to work slowly through the water column, I think guys including myself fish them to fast most times. Great thread BTW. I wonder about these changes myself.
Skunkoff
Regardless of lure type, the yozuri peanut bunker color is an absolute killer. I make sure I have that color option in most of my yozuris. That said, I need to use twitch baits more often. yogiiiboy and Kooky
Mr. Bigdeal
great lookin' little plug....but I've had issues with the front hook wrapping the leader.....guess it's just me. Callmefish
I like tossing on 5x 4/0 mustada on them to give it a faster sink rate. I would imagine inline would slow down they’re already slow sink.
