About a foot deep.

I gave it a shot at a pond I've wanted to fish for a while on Sunday afternoon.  Unfortunately the area is so overgrown on the banks that casting from shore is nearly impossible.  I'm going to have to go back with my waders so that I can get clear of the shore.

If I recall correctly this lure I have on a vintage baitcaster is a Minus 1. Very effective. It is wide and egg shaped with rattles inside. I had to pinch the barbs it was soo good.

Yes that is it. It’s a classic bait that still works well.

That’s going to swim a little deeper and not have as much wobble but will still work. Fish it super slow over flats with dead weeds.

I gave this 1-Minus a try during lunch break today. A few pickerel follows but no takers. I did get one on a jerk bait. I wish the 1-Minus came in better colors with more flash.

I’ve caught some trout on bass lures. Got a big brookie on a blade bait in December
