Neoprene waders

Don't do it, too heavy, hold water, fit too tight and way too hot for most nights. Soak up water like a sponge. Boot foot breathables, sweats underneath on cold nights is the ticket for surf fishing.

The trick these days is to find something decent under $500, sad.

For folks like me that won't pull $500+ and close or over $1K for the Rolls Royce (Simms ) out of my pocket for waders just based on principle, the affordable wader market has dried up or they simply suck.

Wish ya' luck.

No need for neoprene.
Just layer up underneath breathable’s and you will be fine.

Last good pair of neoprene I had were RedBall.

Cabelas neoprene ones for hunting are great. I got the thickest ones. Make sure boots are insulated. I find typical breathable waders don't do well for me wading in cold spring water.

We use these in the colder months for my oystering job and they’re awesome, super warm and comfy.

Depending on your size, Amazon has neoprene tops and bottoms @ 3mm and work for me pretty good with neoprene dive boots

RedBall never, ever leaked...literally out grew mine !

No need anymore, thermals and wool socks under breathables

If you are tall and SLIM, no problem. I struggled putting mine on and off. I bought a "husky" pair and the crotch inseam was around my knees. Like others have said layering up under breathables work for me. I found a pair of surplus quilted long johns, very comfortable and cheap. Foreign army, maybe Chech.

Well, it's your Lucky Day. I have a Sims Pro Guide WT stocking foot with Sims felt sole shoes & Gators and Safety Belt in like new no leaks just sitting in my closet waiting for a Home X large & 10 shoe has to be tried on.  Let's talk, I will give you an Honest deal you won't refuse. I am in Central NJ and can no longer use them.

I have Hellbenders. Worn them for two years. They already started leaking so it looks like I pissed myself if I'm wading on the flats. They get the job done if just standing in the wash on an open beach. Agreed with Highlander though. Theyve gotten so expensive that I'll just deal with the leak.
