Middle of outgoing, Moderate NW that would lie down by dusk. 3 spots out back. 1st two nada, last spot got hit right away on the 3rd cast. Ended up going 3 for 4. 28” 30” and a chunky 36” that took a bunch of drag. Smallest took the hydro m. Bigger ones took the small metal lip. Pleasantly surprised only a few folks were around today. Driving home though a couple bridges were loaded with people. Possible 1st walk on the sand tomorrow. We’ll see. Good night Gang. Nice fish, Dennis!! Cool pic of the purple iridescence!! See you soon....lol belford perry and DeeMonee

There just may have been fish already hitting the sand before that report of the party boat on a popular weekly video getting into the "first wave" of migratory fish. Rivers, bays(not just the popular one), ocean all putting out fish. For inquiring minds: this is a first-hand only report from a tired inlander. Side note: weird how I miss living in ocean county these days lol DeeMonee and EricDice
Popular Post pressphotog
My spot from earlier in the week has cooled off. Just one little 24 striper to show for it. I switch up went to a hole I could reach on a specific wind and tide and had fish for 2 hours straight before I had to go. One was a big fat chunky one easily pushing 40 inches plus. Fish came mostly on my own custom made Danny and surfster metal lip swimmers and bucktails. adams54, Surfratiam, EricDice and 10 others

All but one over 30” to 44” (biggest three 41, 43, 44) and dropped as many. All on mag bombers and ML swimmers. Spooked big bass swirling around on the surface all night. FF lit up like a Christmas tree. Left them biting as my arms and shoulders got worn out. And the best part was I stuck to the same area and mostly alone with only an occasional kayaker trolling by. So it has begun…. Haha. Good stuff!!! Bnofish1112, Master Debaiter and GeoffT
MVTee
Fished Tuesday night and Wednesday in the daytime. Got fish both outings. Felt good except for the giant holes I put in my waders from a hook to the waist. adams54, JimK, hobobob and 1 other

joefishnj21
Got a few fish on topwater beginning of week, one of which was a pretty solid size. After that, been pretty quiet for me at least. Glad guys r gettin in em.. The spots have had ridiculous participation. I realize we are in jersey, everybody gets cabin fever, but man, it's getting crazy. Every spot at odd times has minimum 8 to 10 guys. Feels like since spring of 20 participation has gone up tremendously. That itchy drug of a solid fall had that withdraw through winter and they are out to get their fix. joefishnj21

adobo
So who shut down the bite last night? Very very slow, fish had commitment issues. 4 hours outback and a very nice evening to be out. Lots of folks out and about. Wind was nice enough to not be much of a trouble as forcasted. Found the bunker but nothing on them.
