Knight771
One key is to rest Realmuto a lot more this year. He was burned out by the WS which hurt us. And that requires an upgrade at the backup catcher position. Other than that, they need to change the line up and get Schwarber out of lead off. We'll see how the pitchers do this year. Go Phils. Stubbs is decent, but upgrades are always welcome at this position. Schwarber will not be leading off this year. I'm looking forward to see how "outlawing the shift" will maybe take the sport back to being a little more of a hitters game, particularly singles! Fishhead7
Good news ... Bryce Harper continues to progress in his rehab from Tommy John surgery. He’s taking swings via soft toss, according to MLB.com’s Todd Zolecki. Harper was cleared to take swings off a tee every other day a week ago. Presumably, the next step in Harper’s rehab process is to take batting practice on the field. Thomson told reporters last week that Harper taking batting practice before the end of spring training is a possibility. Harper is expected to be back in the Phillies lineup as the designated hitter before the All-Star break, but at this rate, it seems plausible that Harper could beat that timetable rather easily if there are no setbacks in his recovery. “I don’t want to put timelines on anything because I’ve never dealt with anything like an elbow,” Harper told reporters last week. “It’s definitely different waters for me. Just trying to take it day by day and see how I feel.”
Knight771
Trea Turner parked a salami last night in the whatever it is called. Come from behind victory. Loving he is now a Philly and we have a legit leadoff man. Fishhead7

Highlander1
Somehow, the Phillies stay competitive and update every year to stay that way. Good organization I'd have to say along with supportive fans. Turner is a nice addition, Harper needs to be there, tough division, Mets and Braves are strong. That may be the first compliment I've ever posted about Phillies fans, we all know fans of anything Philly can be a rowdy bunch, ask Santa Claus. That Santa thing was back 50 years ago. Hell, it happened so long ago, I even remember it. Now, throwing snowballs at the Dallas Cowboy's in the 90s is a much better and newer story. And throwing snowballs at Tom Landry in the early 80s was great!!!!! Fishhead7

And beer bottles at fans wearing opponents colors, including kids and womins. One things for sure, Philly fans have a lot of class, all of it low.
