Crazy how much difference between the areas that hit the jackpot and the areas that didn't. Here in Framingham, there is no sign of there having been a nor'easter one day ago, I went out for a walk last night - all the sidewalks are completely clear, roof tops are free of any snow (which was good because I hate roof raking) and most of the lawns had no snow, only some spotty patches of snow on lawns that are mostly in the shadows all day.

But I work in Marlboro and while they weren't buried, there was definitely signs of snow, especially mounds of snow pushed by snow plows, and a lot of the grassy areas had a coating of snow (albeit only an inch or two-and was largely melted away by the afternoon). I think a bit NW of Worcester got the worst of it. I kind of know Ashby as my mom used to live there years ago, before retiring and moving down to Ft Myers,,,they got crushed

Some parts of Fitchburg got 18”, some parts over two feet. The higher the elevation the more the snow. My in laws are in New Ipswich NH they got 34 inches of snow.

As someone who at 58 y/o, have lived well over half my life here in MA, I mostly regard myself as an ‘honorary’new englander…But sometimes I have to laugh knowing that some believe the expression ‘March comes in like a lion, out like a lamb’ actually applies to New England. There should be an edited version for this area, replacing ‘March’ with ‘April’

Definitely. March sucks and the beginning of April usually does too.

I think most fisherman like April because it's the first month many of us (who don't chase holdovers) catch our first stripers of the year. And there is that...but in reality, that just masks the fact that at least for the first couple of weeks of April, we're still in snow storm threat territory

Patriots day used to be my first Striper trip of the year in CT. I’ve started to give up on that with less holdovers around than there used to be.

I switch out my lawnmower for my snowblower in the late fall....make sure it operating correctly, & fill it w/ fresh gas.

Then a few days later my brother-in-law tells me there will be NO snow this winter!

Now I have to siphon out the gas to my lawnmower.  :)

I'll be doing that soon when I have a chance. But I did use my snow blower once this year for the heavy snow. Still plenty of gas left in it.
