Why are so many selling their VS Pliers?

Just found it odd to see a lot of VS pliers being sold at once on other sites.

And lets add, they aren't that impressive to use. For that kind of coin, your looking for something special, these things can't cut a number 2 treble or 30# braid as easily as a pair of Shimano Pliers and a pair of kids scissors. Save $600+ dollars and enjoy a better tool. No brainer- Next.

I've had mine for years and they get used and abused . There overpriced and have no real warranty but I love them and definitely got my money out of them obviously ymmv.

Love  mine. They spend countless hours underwater with no issues. They are a little heavy so I made them a little lighter. My only worry is losing them since they ain’t cheap.

There was also a shop around black Friday where if you purchased a Van Staal reel they included a pair of new VS pliers. It was a big thing on the Facebook groups. Most I ever got when buying a reel was free line lol
