· #1 Posted February 7 Has anyone successfully used cork split grips on a parabolic jigging rod like a blackhole 350/450? Going to be building a 350 as a spinning rod with MN guides and was thinking about cork but worried about cracking. 0 Go to top

Lots of times and cork, properly installed will not be an issue 1 Go to top

I researched the real only reason why you do not see as many is the cost of quality cork, cork is durable, easy to clean, repair and last; only possible argument for non cork is if you cannot hold the rod and need to use the rail? If that is the case maybe you are too frail to fish tuna? I am having a tuna jigging and popping rod built with cork split grips, should be done either end of this month or next month....
