There’s a lot of sites showing up with some prices, that just seem too good to be true, and also seem legitimate at the same time!

I am always skeptical of cheap prices, you know the old saying” if it’s too good to be true”, Thennnn…!!!! it probably is lol!

Just not worth the risk to me personally!

I’ve seen others take a gamble and get lucky and come out on top, also saw good people, get scammed right out of their money and can’t do a damn thing about it, because they just couldn’t help themselves and decided to take a risk and lost!

I'm pretty cautious myself. Did a lot of digging & they are a legit operation...storefront and all. I will definitely post results asap.

I just saw a reel site pop up, while looking at a Daiwa 7HT Mag tournament casting reel thats normally almost $500…!!!

The reel is listed at $86.00, yeah right, LMAO…!!!

The first giveaway is, there’s no reviews anywhere on any of the products lol

So, here’s a picture, if this is a legitimate site, I don’t see how they can survive selling at these prices, so I call this a BS scam…!!!

Yeah....that one looks sketchy.

Has to be, at that price they would not have any reels. The flippers would be all over this like crazy, and just buy every single last one!

But, just the allure alone of getting a reel like that, I’m sure others have fallen prey to this.

Seems like there’s always some kind of scam site at the bottom of your searches, jumping in at the last second, and probably have software for this, damn scammers!

Outdoor Pro Shop is a totally legit business and they have a huge amount of tackle for all types of fishing , bass, ocean, surf, panfish, trout, salmon, etc.

It about an hour north of San Francisco.  If it was closer to me, i'd be shopping there all the time.

From what I recall, they had mid-higher end rods.  like nothing under $100... and mid-higher end reels.  budget-friendly rods/reels you can get as dicks or bass pro or walmart.

but they do also have locally-made or in-house  plastics and lead / jigheads, etc.  for less than name brands.

I was looking online last week for a GSB and one popped-up for less than a hundred bucks from The Salwater Edge, which is a perfectly legit store front and online shop. At that price I knew it was a scam. Looked closely at the URL and it was close but not right. I contacted the shop, of course they were aware. Moral of the story...Check the URL carefully.
