While he called him 'disloyal'

He has missed a chance when he could just be calling him 'Ron Disloyal' at every chance...

Split the field too much and Trump will end up the nominee again...

Again, this know 3X as many Trump 2016 & 2020 voters who will NOT vote for Trump again than I know those who will vote for him for the third time.

Nikki is of Indian (subcontinent) descent.  Long term married, kids, etc.  She is attractive, was a popular governor, a really good UN Ambassador and checks most of the conservative blocks.  She doesn't have a lot of pazazz as a speaker but does have some gravitas.  She also tests well among African Americans though that will change as the Dems tar her.  I like her.  I think she and DeSantis would be unbeatable.

Agree!

It would be a ticket with two southerners, but aside from that, it looks like it would be unstoppable!

I don't know if I believe it is that high; if he has 25% of the 'R' support in the primary, he will win if there are 10 challengers. Everyone will attack each other to try and end up the 'Not Trump' option.

There won't be 10 challengers when it comes down to ballot time.

It'll be whittled down to 2 or 3 real candidates and everyone left that has not bowed out will be a fringe leftover kinda like Kamala Harris.

Disagree, but we'll see.

When Iowa rolls around it will be Trump, DeSantis, Haley, Pence, Pomeo, Scott.

Maybe Cruz, Rubio, Noem (just trying to get some recognition to be Trumps ballwasher I mean VP)

You knowingly voted for a senile, child molesting, ultra-corrupt puppet.  You have no room to call names at anyone.  You should be ashamed of yourself for your vote.

She will primary Trump for 2024, but end up as his VP pick if he should get the GOP nomination... She needs the Federal experience, and will be perfect for 2028 Presidential candidate for the GOP since Trump won't run then.

Or... Trump doesn't get the nomination. Time will tell.

I think she's got a little more character than that.

And she saw first hand what he did to Pence.

The last time I saw a poll, President Trump is still the preferred GOP nominee of about 50% of the Republican electorate. I'd bet that among reliable primary voters, he rates significantly higher. Ms. Haley seems conservative enough to me, with a much more humane face than Trump can project. Cultural warriors may prefer DeSantis, for his attacks on wokeness, etc. That will play very well in The Villages, but perhaps not in a Presidential primary.

As far as attacking women, I don't see why Trump would lose by doing so. Remember the primary debate in which Carly Fiorina was a participant? He made fun of her looks. "is that the face of a President of the United States?" or words to that effect. An insistence on traditional gender roles was part of his appeal to his base in 2016. Maybe that has changed, maybe not.
