Sympathy for the 49ers.

is not something I normally feel. Back when Joe Montana was the GOAT, it was fun to hate them. But to go into a playoff game with your #3 QB, have him knocked out, add the #4 QB and see him get knocked cold, and having to put the #3 QB back in even though he couldn't throw the damn ball, and this against as formidable a defense as Philly presents .... damn, the Fates really lined up on one side of the ball, this Sunday past.

KC vs. Cincinnati, that was more fun to watch. But for sheer thrills, nothing has matched the Bills/KC game from last year.

Was tough for this 49ers fan, turned it off in fact.  Should be a good SB match-up though

Good matchup is right. Two of the more “unlikeable” teams in the league. I don’t like the idea either one of them winning. But I can accept it because it will be nice to see one of them lose.

As usual when I don't particularly like either team I'll be rooting for whoever is behind at the moment.  Hoping for a close fought back and forth seasaw of a game.

If not I'll try to sush out the defensive coverage scheme every play (and curse the tight camera angles!)

If that doesn't work, I'll just join the party and enjoy the dip.

I dislike teams with players who take cheap shots.  You know, intentionally skirt the rules of the NFL and common decency.  The Cowboys and Niners both have those sort of characters.  Watch the last two minutes of the game for several examples.

Yes, the Eagles had that sort of reputation long ago.  Andre Waters was a prime offender.

Dirty Waters.

Derrick Barnett was the most recent Eagle with that affliction. Fortunately they let him go after last season..

Really?

A suspect was arrested in an altercation that badly injured a San Francisco 49ers fan in a parking lot outside SoFi Stadium during last weekend's NFC Championship Game between the 49ers and Los Angeles Rams, authorities said Friday.

I love when we make way past the breakwater at first light and head out, there's nothing better, the whole rest of the world just melts away for me.

He's still on the team. Got injured on opening day and has been on the IR since.
