are where ya find 'em. And my neighbor up camp did so I have 2 carcasses for wet flies, which is way more than I need. So if any of y'all in York county (or want to meet in York county) have a need for one it's all yours! Let me know and we can meet up. They're frozen but feathers are fine.

Do you know the difference between a ruffed grouse and a partridge?   Ruffed grouse are killed on the wing, partridge are shot in the pre-flight position.  

 

All of the birds in my freezer are ruffed grouse.   Although, my friends tell me that they all taste the same...

Neighbor shot these pre-flight, didn't get to taste them alas. But plucked and washed and already tied a bunch pof soft hackled wets with them, look pretty good! I might ask him to take me out next year.
