Looking for a Grady console from salvage

Looking to see if I can find a complete console from a Grady White 209 Escape between 1999-2010. Mine (1993) is out due to fuel tank replacement project and If I can find one of the two designs used during that span, it should fit my "tank lid" according to GW engineers. Worth a look while everything is apart. Any leads to marine salvage yards???

You might want to try boat dump long island. Theres also a marine consignment place in bohemia, long island. I forget the name. He probably dosent have it but pretty sure he'll have some leads.

the human race has proved darwins theory of evolution wrong. we let the dumb survive.

Try Marine Connection Liquidators in Ft Pierce.  I know they have a ton of consoles.  Really, if the base dimensions are correct and you like the setup don't pigeon hole yourself into something made by Grady

There is another similar outfit down there, can't remember the name.

Whats wrong with your current console?

Yeah, curious, how did your tank lid dimensions change when you got into this tank replacement project? Should be the same, no?

Nothing has changed. I did have to have fill, sender, ground, and vent all moved to match my original, which was different locations than the spec drawing I received from grady.... The Lid dimensions are the same. Just looking into more recent designs from 1999-2010 builds that theoretically should fit right into the shoe that the console gets screwed down to.  I will post some pics.

Not probably the project you want but I built a custom center console for my 17 Whaler.  I had all the fiberglass, woodworking skills.  I'm glad I did it for the experience but I'd never do it again.  It's a ton of work to do right and not have it look clapped together.  I did a bunch of mockups until finally getting it right.  Used 3/8" marine plywood and epoxied the inside and fiberglassed the outside so I could gelcoat it.

Probably a wash on materials and a ton of work.  Came out nice though.

There's a marine salvage yard in Quincy MA, if they have something I can go look at it for you

I have a meeting with "a guy" who could customize the top face of my current console. He is considered one of the best in the field and has added four feet in length to a number of offshore boats, including some from Wicked Tuna. I have done plenty of glass in my day but might want to just write the check if he can fit it in, when we decide to proceed. Still looking at procuring a more modern design console, preferably a '99 Grady. console.
