Curious to see what is your favorite combo of the year.

For salt Daiwa saltist 8'3ML light surf with a stradic 3000.

For fresh Shimano expride 6'10ML with stradic 2500.

These always put a smile on my face and I pick them up first.

9’6” ODM Frontier X with Penn Torque 5.  Replace the handle knob with the knob from Torque 7.  I reach for this setup more than any other. Plenty of backbone in the rod but still casts 3/4 oz bucktails decently. I like the drag on the Torque more than my VS reels

A SpongeBob or Barbie rod. Bends and does not break like an uglystik.

Cause when you watch your kids catch something on it.

Nothing beats it.

I have too many rods and reels to have only one favorite.

They’re like kids; they’re all my favorite.

Same here.

The one I use the most is a GSB1201L and a VS200.
