Surf fishing is the new social activity!

Yep. Never understood it. Guys look at me crazy when I wave from afar and walk the other way. If our entire lives are filled with blabber why would I want to blab on the beach too. I go to relax and catch fish, not socialize with a bunch of clowns like myself

I am far from the man! Just lucky a bunch!

Well that’s what’s key honestly. Sometimes I get so wrapped up thinking I know a certain spot during a certain tide, wind, etc… and then boom you don’t even get a hit

Hit out front today. Top water was good this morning.

Landed 1 short bass, 4 slots to 35” and one over at 37”.

Also got 4 choppers 12 to 15 lbs, raised as many and dropped a couple.

There are people who apparently prefer to fish the same way that they live their lives: amidst constant crowding, noise, and chaos.

Just wondering how many people went out to buy green little neck popper after those picks?

:point:

Bad day fishing is still much better than good day work.

Lol! I prefer yellow over white or all white. Obviously color doesn’t matter.

This is the only color I’ve been able to get from multiple stores this season so yes, they will all be gone now!

Last 3 days have been a pick. Raised many fish but the bass have been fussy.

Choppers been saving the trips.
Only 3 bass to 35” and 5 blues to 15 lbs.

Choppers been cleaning up my skunk smell for sure these last few outings

Tried different spots this weekend. Inlet was dead.

Went back to the bay to find a bite, Bugs were chewing and so were the bass.

Landed 28 shorts, 3 slots to 35” and 2 blues to 8 lbs.

Bucktails got small fish and the popper got the bigger ones.

What happened to the green popper?

Does this mean we have to buy a white popper, too?

Not fair, man.

Went out last night, new moon tide was something else. Front emptied out so early and so fast, it was wild. Not a fish or bait in sight, North winds did not help.

Where do you go when the lights go out?

Aboit damn time. It was literally miles of this. They were very picky/I'm not good at this. Despite the likely tons of swimming biomass, only managed a few. Emptied the tacklebox in the attempt, and every fish was caught on some iteration of a paddletail.
