I joined this site recently because two of my buddies always post on this site. I decided to add a few quick reports. Catching fish like that mid summer is wild. Congratulations on your hard work. Are you wetsuiting? Deserteagle778 and fishinthedark 1

LowEnd
Deserteagle is not a knewbee and has been around along time. His dedication to the sport is second to none and he catches more larger fish than anyone I know. Fish handling ? Yeah buddy you could stop hanging them from the boga. Great job on finding some solid fish! Deserteagle778
LowEnd
Changed my latitude as Sunday was a skunk for me in one of my regular spots. Hit first light this morning, landed 3 bass 24”,27” and 30” all on poppers. Raised 2 others. Small window to get them and it shut off quick. Tried a swimmer and bucktail with no luck. Nice to have a bend in the rod again. Edited July 25 by LowEnd Deserteagle778
HarryHood711
Nice to see you guys still getting on them. I have such motivation issues in the summer, lower temps can't come soon enough. Where do you go when the lights go out?

Bugs were insane this morning. So yeah, it’s hard to keep motivated. Bass are around all summer, just a matter of right time, place and effort. TBH, rather soak up some sun and have a few cold ones this time of the year but this stupid fish keeps me going back for more! Maybe I'll give another push on this upcoming moon. LowEnd 1 Where do you go when the lights go out?

What Lowend has said…I have crossed paths with Deserteagle as well over these past few years… fished around him a bit more this year a little more … so he catches, and he catches large… maybe the most under radar guy I know … and I know and have fished with Bruno and Pete U Deserteagle778 1 I Fish therefore I Lie
cheech
Finally caught some huge bluefish in the Western Sound after several recent trips that were total skunks. These were the first blues > 12” that I’ve seen in about 6 years. Perhaps normalcy may return. Deserteagle778
This past night was unbelievable. Back to back casts of teen fish to low 20 lbs. Can't beat a hot summer bite. LowEnd
Got out this morning 5:15 to 7:00 am. Second cast fish on! And it kept going. Landed 9 shorts 24” to 27”, 4 slots and one over around 34”. Almost every cast and then it shut off around 6:40. Felt a little like fall this morning both temp and action wise. Deserteagle778
WLIStless
Went out in the kayak yesterday evening until about 11pm. Far WLIS. The water surface Temps were 71, which was 8 degrees cooler than last weekend. The rain and stronger tides seemed to mix up the water a bit. Oddly fewer keeper fluke, but the bass were a lot more active. None were big, but they were aggressive. Caught ~15. Nothing over 28 inches, but had a run of 6 straight casts with a fish.

LowEnd
Nice blue fish! Some how I can’t find any of these buggers and I keep finding bass. The reason I went out this morning was that last year I got into some monsters that would have put me into the $ for the WICC this time last year.
