Haven’t fished since last week.

Saturday fished out front for 0. Moved to the back side of inlet and got a 2 blues and dropped a few.

Went out front today(short trip) and got the skunk! Nothing working for me and no signs of life.
Can’t complain, only my second skunk since 4/5. Been a good run.

Out front was like the Caribbean for me these past few days, with polarized glasses I had incredible visibility and with these clear skies it made for some insane sight fishing. Fish were skidish while feeding on sandeels and sandfleas but the good ole small bucktail managed a few.

Dead on south shore yesterday, large body of water devoid of life.  Saturday had a pretty good day on north shore, targeting fluke, but only for 1 short, few shads and a tiny rat striper. Was a good time, but not what it was last year, 1 fluke covering lots of water that's not good. Even pesky sea robins disappeared.

Went out on my kayak Sunday evening in the WLIS. Nothing doing until the outgoing started, then the same 5 inch paddletail caught a flurry of bass of about 25-28 inches and a few fluke up to 19". All happened within like 20 minutes. Then, as I wasn't skunked anymore, I felt like I could go back to shore and away from the "gentlemen" on jetskis who felt I needed a close look at how fast they could do donuts.

Your words are kind as they would not be mine. Those “gentlemen” are everything but.

The local Darwin Award contendees have been out in full force here since April. There’s more of them every year. Can only safely go out on a kayak early morning, every other time all week and weekend the Bay is full of phalanxes of jet skiers and/or demboats almost running into each other.

Nice work...reading the certificate the length/weight is proportional and sure blows alot of fish stories right outa the water !

I thought an inch was equal to a pound! Lol!

Went out this morning for the first time in a week.

Only hit I got., 33”.
The beach is littered with sand fleas and for some reason I can’t find bass on the lip.

Had same results Saturday AM. Terns going crazy on sand fleas, added a small sand crab teaser fly...no bass, ton of really short fluke. Maybe better luck tomorrow with the wind change comin...we'll see.
