Lots of great eats, some where very hard to spot they were pegged to the bottom and not moving natures perfect camouflage. Awesome, I have been thinking about a Bayou adventure in my future. Where about did you go ? Looks fun. Looks chilly too. Hope you missed that nasty cold front

thx..50's in the morning lower to mid sixties by the time your done sometimes even colder dec, jan and feb has some weird weather it can go to low 40's to high 70's on any given day, yeah i think that storm/tornado that came thru the day before our trip had them little quirky.we lucked out wasn't bad for us.we normally fish port sulphur but this time we fished venice very big water lots of big long runs but the juice is worth the squeeze.

A couple of friends just got back from the Looosiana bayou 10 days ago and had an awesome trip with big fish pounding on crab patterns,giant muddlers,dahlberg style divers.Great food and the guide was a blast to fish with.

wow,10days is a long time three to four max for me

 They were there for 7 and GOT BACK 10 days ago.I agree 10 days all day is a work out.

I tell friends that want to come down here to fish that 3-4 days is the minimum. Its so weather dependent. If you were here this week, for example, you could be here for a week and not fish a single day. If you hit the weather great then I agree 3-4 days is perfect. But from November through March you can figure on getting cancelled 50% of the time, on average.

that's pretty much sight fishing we just pick our dates and hope the sun will shine for us, you'll never know what mother nature will throw at ya i guess I've been lucky, for over a decade sometimes twice a year we've been blown out 3 or 4 times.
