All "Feel Good" BS.

Funny thing is they are listening to some kind of "Save the animals" organization rather then the true scientists.

It will be their loss. Nothing like a Maine lobster. Screw Whole foods.

Anyone who would pay whole foods lobster prices are an idiot anyway. Iirc i remember seeing something like $28/lb when everyone else was about $16/lb.

Lobster is bad for the planet, screams white privilege and Whole Food shoppers are better than that. Get with the program and eat the bugs...

There are regulations in place that require a “weak link” between the buoy and trap that would prevent whale entanglement.

Yup, and even that is more for feels than anything

the last time a right whale was entangled in a maine lobster line was in 2004. Even without the breakaway lines whales weren’t getting tangled to begin with

most of the right whales that get killed are killed by boat strikes up in canada

Why didn't he speak his mind while he was still CEO?

Does anyone actually buy live lobsters from the supermarket? All the markets around me got rid of the tanks, not for any other reason than they were not lucrative. Anyway, kudos to Whole Foods for getting rid of them. Making a living creature suffer in the name of faux decadence has no place in a civilized, enlightened society.
