Well they were $250 on sale for $99 and sale is over now!

They sold out pretty fast though, as I had one of them in my cart and went back to check out and it was gone…!!!

They sure as hell looked pretty nice lol!

It's a rebranded Okuma Rockaway surf rod, they sell for about half of that $250.... that said not a bad rod at all for 99 bucks

I missed out, not sure about the OP!

I put it in my cart and went to check out literally two hours later and was gone already!

I do notice alot of similarities between blanks these days and often makes me wonder!

But if you’re absolutely sure about that rod  being rebranded, I would much rather have an Okuma rod because of their warranty program anyway!

I did not pull the trigger. I wanted some info first. Those rods are totally off my radar. I did look up the okuma rockaway rod though

They are sold out online, but I got one yesterday at J&H Tackle on Long Island.  They still have a few in the store, but not many left.

Really light, great feeling rod.  Can't wait to get it out on the beach.
