Well, I can tell you its not fixed. I just tried to upload some photos from my laptop and they went on as attachments to my post, I had to go back and edit the post from my phone to get the the pics to imbed in the post.

Happy to report that the bug has not been fixed.

It’s not a bug, Mike - doesn’t matter how you upload stuff that the software doesn’t recognize, it will post them as attachments. Save your images in one of the common file formats like png, jpg, tiff, bmp, gif or jpeg - and they’ll be uploaded as images instead of attachments.

Not a bug - unless your are trying to upload one of those file types and they show up as attachments - but I suspect that is not the case :)

Show someone how to catch striped bass and they'll be ready to fish anywhere.
Show someone where to go striped bass fishing and you'll have a desperate report chaser with loose lips.

All it really means to me Tim is that if I want to upload a picture I took with my phone I have to use my phone, can’t do it from my computer.

Because you don't want to save a picture as a recognized image format doesn't mean you can't upload a photo from your computer - it means you have to save it as a format the software recognizes. You can do it from your computer - like lots of other people do all the time :) It's not a bug...it's a setting on your end :)

The point remains, if the system can handle the photo from my phone, it should be able to handle the same photo from my computer.

Mike - just because you can see the picture on both devices doesn’t mean each device uploads it in the same format :beers:

Your phone changes it to a common image format when you upload it - your computer doesn’t….it’s an Apple thing :)

Aha! I didn’t know that. That explains a lot.
