Weather was not ideal today but the long time weather forecast predicted low temps. with

freezing for the next weeks so I headed out anyway.

Water was ultra clear and low although some of the accumulated leaves had sealed some
of the small dams in the stream raising certain sections.

Tried a whole range of different nymphs including squirmy's but only the grub nymph
produced some small golden shiners.

Spotted a nice trout that was positioned near a stone but closed season so I do
not target them.

Forgot the sunglasses so fishing was not exactly effective.
When it started to rain I figured time would be better spent in the pub so that
is where I headed next.
