Obviously, some prefer not to share. But for the others…

What’s your go size / color, etc? (By scenario if ya wanna be specific or just your search bait.)

Not so interested in topwater details as that’s mostly about place / time and action IMHO.

And for matching the hatch on peanuts:

White in daylight, white or blurple at night?

Anyone successfully using yellow or bronze or silver for peanut imitations?

After all, what’s a bucktail but a weighted fly for us guys using “gear” instead of the “fairy wand.”

Ok.  I have been fishing mostly from boats lately but this will translate to the beach as well.

5" flies, mostly white deceivers and hollow patterns.

Lures, 5" chartreuse shads, white mag darters, 6" doc spooks.

The fish today were so stuffed with bait it was hard at times to get the to eat and when you did, especially early in the morning, they would barely fight.  By noon, they started attacking top water baits and fought so much harder.  We had fish to 18lbs on flies and lures, but you had to be creative.

Definitely having a lot of luck using 4” white gotcha shad with 3/8 shad head…!!!

The past few nights, I had to go to a different lead head because the fish got bigger lol and straightening out the regular heads that I’m using!

I’m literally nailing fish after fish, every cast and also catching with little Yozuri 5” crystal minnows in a color combo yellow, orange and white during the day and dark color at night when they are on skinny baits!

It’s the Green Head Baits small glider. Stock hooks.

I have heard some talk about them and it is all good ...    I will have to keep an eye out for them.

Yellow. White. As expected.

Anyone for blue back?

I feel like the dead peanuts I noticed had more blue in them than yellow or green.
