That exact location may not work. @gman1253 and I went there this morning to discover that the beach access stairs are all being reconstructed after the damage caused by Ian. I do not know if that work will be done in ~3 weeks but I can check it out. If not, I can offer another alternatives nearby, just up the road a half mile.

actually, just go into Coral Cove Park proper. Park along the street on the west side, walk across street to the park and hit the beach. you might want to walk north toward blowing rock if you want to cover ground.

Totally agree....  real fishy water too. However since the beach "re-plenishment" it's been slower than a dead snail & that's from Hobe Sound to Juno.

I'll be there... in the mean time I'll be doing some freshwater fly fishing for whatever I find.

What’s the municipal alcohol policy?

In the area we will be using, no restrictions outside of minor drinking and avoiding making a spectacle of one's self. also, no alcohol on the sand, but even that is not enforced as long as it is not totally visible or one's behavior brings the attention of the local constabulary.

I am bringing the ooni and fixins

I have never made a pizza in it yet. Learn with me.  It can’t be too difficult. I will get the dough from Publix.
so far the fixins include

mozz

basil from my tower garden!

sausage

pepperoni

ricotta

onions

garlic

peppers red green and Thai chilies

Pineapple???

I make my own simple pizza sauce

open for suggestions/ requests

My kids used the Publix dough and it worked well for them. The key is launching it off the peel into the oven and then spinning it. How you set for peels, I can bring whatever you don’t have.

i have two.  I figure one used for the pie in the oven and one to prep the pie on deck.  Another peel would be good to prep but can be no more than 12 inches

Tom -- would you like for me to bring ice or something else?
