The fish blog was created as a common communal gathering place to share and report weekly fishing activity. Having this information in one thread benefits those who greatly use this RI forum and ply our local waters. The premise is to gather all weekly reports into one common portal, thus making it easy to access, view and add your own fish reports.   This is the fifth year for this type of approach. Post your success or skunks, either way, black or white, zero to hero, let us all know if the bite is good or bad.  Fresh, factual information is one of the best sources of Intel we have at our disposal to predict where the better fishing will be tomorrow.

The Fat Lady may not be singing just yet, but she booked here final destination transportation already for the winter months.

Another season under our belts, always melancholy at this time of year, closing a boat, washing equipment, storing rods.

The fishing passion is such an important hobby and something we all love and enjoy.

In most cases it's our escape, from all the stress, obligations we bare in life, a place we feel free to enjoy Natures World.

This will be our last of this years Fishing Blogs. It will run all the way to the end of this month.

I'll start another Thread near the end of the month to recap all our adventures and sum up the season.

Special Thanks to everyone who during the season provided good timely, accurate reports to help us all out.

Time to put a tarp on this and cover it for the season.  My best,  Ray

Hung up the yak  Sunday. Sad day.

It like losing a part of us.... so sad.

One good thing.... our winters are long.... so we gradually look forward to fishing and our interest peaks again in spring.

Curious if anyone has been out post storm, and if the fish hung around or bailed.

There were fish blowing up on bait off of Newport yesterday. Just out of range and moving quick.

Went out in the rain this morning attempting to break a skunk, caught about 20 of these bad boys on topwater with no other signs of life. Nothing like a walk on the beach with an expensive walking stick, yet I am too stubborn to hang it up.
