If Trump runs, and lake wins az, I could see her as his running mate.

While we're playing mix 'n match, who would pair well with DeSantis? I can't see him wanting to be the leader of a two-man team, the way Gore worked closely with Clinton. Like Trump, DeSantis would have a VP only because he has to have one.

Somebody else proposed Tulsi Gabbard as a V.P. candidate. That's a possibility.

There is no democrat I would vote for EVER so if Trump is the nominee, he has my vote.  That being said I hope its Desantis or some other young Republican who is on the ballot.

That one didn't even occur to me.  But would she add anything to a ticket headed by Trump? I can't see it. DeSantis, IMHO, would not want her.

Nothing at all to the conversation. It would be fun watching trump come up with more names though. Honestly that’s what I’m looking forward to on the next election cycle, more childish behavior by what can only be assumed would be adult-ish aged individuals.

Trump announcement- separation from the GOP and forming a third party, MAGA.

He runs in 2024 as MAGA candidate against the GOP party that he announces they abandoned him and America and against the Democratic Party which he goes on tirades about…

Not sure who in his inner circle will run with him… maybe Greene.

Not hearing discussion on this angle.

At this point I don't see him winning the nomination. If that happens MSNBC would give him a slot to beat up on Rep Candidates

Sure, and his legacy could become how I insured the Democrats win in 2024.

He holds that legacy for 2020 and the 2022 midterms.

I hope Trump runs and takes DeathSantis (who’s pretty much unelectable anyway due to his lack of charisma, MAGA extremism and strongman tendencies) out of the picture.  Because he’ll then lose bigly to incumbent Biden who has far more legislative victories, is smarter politically and much less insane.  Independents may dislike Biden but they absolutely detest Trump.  Women too don’t care too much for Trump, the sexual assaulter.

Chances are though Trump won’t be able to run due to getting indicted and not being fit for office.

I like Tulsi, but I don't see DeSantis pairing with her, though I think it could be a strong play. I think she has come off the more liberal policies some since leaving office and is more moderate these days. She would show a willingness to work more middle of the road to the independent and Democrat voters.

Really I think DeSantis looks for someone more along the lines of Youngkin. Solid Republican but not extremist.

I voted for the orange man in 2020, NO WAY IN HELL WILL I VOTE FOR HIM AGAIN. I'm not sold on DeSantis but he's got potential, same as Youngkin. Whoever it is, they better be somewhat moderate and avoid the abortion issue. If they do that, they'll win easy.

If it were Biden vs Trump again, I'm not voting for Trump, don't know what I'd do. Worry about that in two years.

Hopefully the orange man gets indicted for something, health prevents him from running, something takes him completely out of the picture. Because if he's around and the not republican nominee he'll go scorched earth and cost the republicans the election no matter the candidate.

Putting it very mildly. He's a cancer.

LOL. "Deathsantis"...no prejudice there. "Unelectable"...guess you're unaware of the inroads Desantis made with Black and Hispanic voters in Fla...16% and 52%. He scored very well with Hispanics in traditionally Democratic Miami Dade and the liberal Jewish Palm Beach. ( Analysts have always said if a Republican could cut into Democratic territory and get over 10% of minority voters it would be "game on"...and thats been the trend with the Prog Libs pushing insane agenda items that run counter to Black and Hispanic values  ). The mayor of Miami's Surfside gave him high marks for his response to the Champlain tower collapse ...and in the wake of Ian the Pine Island Bridge was repaired and open in 3 days, the Sanibel Bridge in 3 weeks...when media "experts" claimed it would be 3 months. Desantis doesnt need Trump...he's established his own Brand now. The Red Wave in Florida proved that.
