Nice win over the Rangers. In other news Bellow pick up on waivers by the flyers. Still think he'll turn out to be a 2/3 line winger. Considering his inconsistent use on the roster these are not terrible numbers:

"he's appeared in 68 games, where he's recorded 25 points.

The Edina (Minnesota) native has only played in one game this season, but in 45 games last year, he put up 19 points (six goals, 13 assists), 19 penalty minutes and was a minus-one."

Haven’t followed like a true fan for some time , it’s not easy ( from where I live now ) to make the games . Did attend a Tampa game it was ugly But I attended the  home games from the Lord Stanley Cup years = free tickets does it count ? 79-83

Let’s go Potvin !

Win over the Avalanche last night. 5-4 now. Offense seems to be clicking more now than when Trotz was coach.

Three nice wins in a row. Keep the momentum going. Looks like a few of the dead fish (no pun intended) are contributing. Sorokin slowly making the argument for the best goalie in NY.

Only fair to give Lambert's system some time but since he coached with Trotz how much different can we expect things to be? It's basically the same team as last year only older and slower.

Thankfully Chara and Green are done

I like how Romanov has looked on D so far

Barzal. Lots of talent but no direction. Anyone playing on his line is skating blind. Linemates can't possibly know what to do as he skates in circles until he eventually coughs up the puck

Lol, my friend said the same thing about Barzal last season; "If he would only shoot the puck instead of skating in circles". I thought he was spot on, and hilarious at the time, but you just repeated exactly what he said!

Four now, after beating the Hawks last night. On to St. Louis on Thursday. As for best goalie, it's still early in the season.

Another good win last night against a struggling team. Good to see them beating the good, the bad and the ugly. They'll need them all. Devils pulled one out of their magic hat last night too. All three locals showed up in the NHL Power 16. It's a festivus miracle!

Good teams are supposed to beat bad teams. If they don't, then bad things happens. The Devils have been building/stockpiling youth for years. I thought they would be contenders in the 24/25 season. The Rangers rebuilt quickly and are a win now or 23/24 season team, they just need some discipline on defense. As for the other local team, the Isles, they are older and definitely built to win now. Lamoriello knew what most of us didn't when he canned Trotz and promoted Lambert.

Detroit: Seemed it was over before it began. That second call on Pelech to make it a 5/3 was B-R-U-T-A-L. Hopefully the bounce back tonight, first of back to backs.

Yeh, the rookie ref that game was horrible. ESPN + game tonight :dismay:. I'm relegated to radio. For what it's worth, hockey is NOT a radio sport, lol. At least they tied it up a 1 apiece.

Webs saying MSGSN2: MSGGO and ESPN+. Nice comeback last night, admit I had them dead in the water after 2.
