Chass510
Is there a cheap yet good universal lube & tool kit you guys would recommend? Trying to get into reel maintenance and would rather get a few good universal tools to start
handi2
For flat bladed screwdrivers always get the ground flat ones. Regular screwdrivers are tapered and will slip ruining your reel/.s Chass510
Mike Mendez
I used to use craftsman screwdrivers, but they never fit right. I bought a set of Wera screwdrivers and oh what a difference. For conventional reels, the PH01 is the one in my hand 90% of the time and by itself is less than $10. Midnightpass
Chass510
What a crap crap crap show - that zero sized screw driver I had lost in my house and had to try to use a eye glass screw driver, fits but I have no leverage to turn the screw. handi2
WIHA screwdriver are the best. For philips you will need a JIS screwdriver. No joke its for Japanese screws. yarddog59 and Midnightpass

That might explain why pozidrive drive works so well for Scooby. @scoobydoo I use a mix of Whia and Wera Edited December 7, 2022 by connman
