GMC electric Sierra!

Again, a story on TheDrive dot com. Taking orders for 2023 delivery (we'll see if that happens) and the first vehicles produced will be unsurprisingly luxe, luxe, luxe   ... wouldja believe $106K?

I am not really a car guy. The real cylinder heads here can tell me something .... is TheDrive a good source for things automotive? Does anyone take their observations seriously?

Another stupidly expensive EV luxury truck. I think the drive and pretty much all the other auto reviewers suck. They all seem to love everything they are given to test. I like the TFL channels on YouTube. They seem to give honest opinions and will say if something sucks plus they buy a lot of the vehicles that they are testing and beat on them.

I expect the big initial market for these things will be in southern California. Plenty of prosperous people with money to burn, and mild weather that's kind to batteries.

And morons, who have to live with rolling blackouts because CA's electric grid is overwhelmed as it is. They can have ALL the EV vehicles on the planet, more gas for us.

Price notwithstanding, what's not really overpriced for what you're actually getting these days. Biggest let down is they're so luxurious the utility in SUV is almost non existent. My neighbor has a 2022 Sierra, when he picks up the kids from soccer he jams them into his wifes Toyota....doesn't want the muddy cleats and grass stained uniforms in his pretty truck.

For a $75K vehicle, neither would I, lol.
