End of the year report

Took my last trip of the year today. Very quiet  with dead calm seas and no wind.  Did see 3 propose cruising along, which was cool.

That last windstorm that kickedd up the seas for a week pushed all the bait and fish out.The day before the storm I had my best day ever in the salt with 2 forty threes 4 others over 40 and a bunch of35-38 fish fish. What a great fall run! That day we got them on Macs docs and slunggos. Nothing like huge fish slamming a doc or slug.Visual fishing like that is awesome. It was a great  august/September after a really crappy start for me.Very hard to find bait earlier. Also the two week period of monster blues was a bonus this year! I'll post some pics when I can figure how to do it and crop out backgrounds. Its always a pleasure reading everyones reports even if I don't post often...

Just think, that could be the norm for outings if the fishery could get back on track, these poor spawns are gonna hurt in the next few years unfortunately

This isn't very encouraging...
