The Munch Box on the ocean side of the traffic circle. Best fried chicken and Greek Salad. 
Right near THE BAKERY too.

It’s been a few years since I’ve been, but always love the restaurant at Snug Harbor. They have the best Sushi in Montauk. I always knew it as the Chowder House, but a quick check said its the Fish House.

I know it’s a newer hipper thing to you old heads, but the bar at Best Pizza is fun, has a pool table and the foods good. Beers relatively cheap, sports on the tv. Mixed crowd of young and old. Bartender poured heavy when i was there.

Everybody just calls it Westlake. Love it there. great bar, great sushi. A hidden gem. I think this weekend is their last weekend of the year.

 

The Dock

Tony's is the new sandwich place, better than Goldberg's. Open early. Goldberg's is acceptable in a pinch.

Best pizza on the stretch or Blade and Salt pizza is good too

John Drive - good greasy burgers, fried chicken and best ice cream in the Hamptons.

Ditch Witch for lunch if it's still open

 

I'd skip Lunch, Clam Bar, Harvest, Pizza Village, Gig Shack, Gosman's, Herb's - lots of better options than these

 

I'd go to the Dock or Westlake before Salivar's or Inlet. Can't miss at the Dock and Westlake 

 

The Point and Shagwong for drinking only. Food sucks at both. The Point is good for watching games.

 

Montauket is the best bar in Montauk.

I’ll check some of these spots out this week. No wife with me this time. When she comes along we go to Harvest, Lunch and Gig Shack. Although I love Gig Shack…

No,its been sold

Lunch is waaay overrated..Harvest is def good,Navy Beach is OK too...and I thought gig shack was overpriced..the Dock is the only place in mtk I have never been disappointed ...miss Cyrils..not for the food but the Sunday afternoons,and La Fondita is pretty good on the way in or out

Westlake for Sunday football and sushi. They close so early in the season. 
the Hideaway behind Cove is great for tacos, cold beer or sangria if you’re with your wife. 
inlet for dinner if you feel like spending the coin.  
Montauket for everything else.

Couldn't agree more...and the fishing has sucked this year. Jersey is way better.
