Great Lubrication

In my Penn 713 when I serviced it thirty years I grease the  complete interior and exterior rollers and bushings with an anti seize lubricant the exact same thing that you place on a screw that you don't want to seize in place. This anti seize lubricant prevented the intrusion of water. The whole reel disassembled very easy even the bail screws turned out easily ..  All I did was take it apart examined the interior and reassembled ..

You mean that silver crap?  I used that inside a fishing reel once. One of the worst mistakes I ever made.  I'm still finding it on various pieces of fishing gear 15 years later...

Yup .. And none of the screws was corroded or seized.. Not a drop of corrosion on any of the interior or exterior components
