What's the red spot on the cats paw?

Nail cap. Trim the nails, glue on the covers, and the cat is mostly harmless for a few weeks. It's like declawing, except it doesn't involve painfully mutilating the animal.

Sounds like a money making scheme for whoever does the caps.

And I'm sure the cats love getting their nails capped.     :point:

Holy crap the amount of heat and time in the water it took to do that!

Saves your furniture, if that's a concern, it's a win.

Depends on the cat. If they associate a manicure with a snack, they generally learn to deal.

Did a run to Bakers and Childrens at lowtide. I brought a rod with me just in case something might happen. I was not disappointed. This is my largest cache of Sea Glass ever. I have enough glass to build several "Real Sea Glass" xmas trees. What a hit!  Brought the girl with me as we filled up the bucket. Last time we hit this spot we had a crap load of blues, not this time. You just never know what you are going to find.

I started sea glass hunting a few years back. Have to do something to fill the void.

Funny you should post this - a friend of mine contacted me this week saying he inherited a bunch of sea glass and asked me if I knew what to do with it. Think he was trying to sell it but not sure of anyone who buys sea glass.

When did collecting sea glass become a hobby?  I never heard of it until a couple years ago when I saw a lady collecting it at Sandwich Creek.

I've known of people using it in craft art and whatnot but, I wasn't aware it was such a collectors item either.

My Lady has been wrapping as a buisness side hustle for 3 years. She does well on necklaces, earrings, bracelets, etc. I am not good at wrapping at all but what I am good at is finding the sea glass. Some places are better than others.

I think Covid years got people out but she was in to it years before.

People have been collecting seaglass and beachcombing forever. I always leave the beach with pockets full of something, glass, bones, teeth, shells.
