I'm toying with the idea. Trade me your two remote days for a 4 day work week.

I suppose it would depend on the job.

I could do it, the guys downstairs, no way.

We can all do it. HR problem to figure out how, not our problem

When the office folk came back they let us work remote 1 day/week, which is damn close to a 4 day work week.

I spent a year working 3 thirteen hour days, was pretty beat up by the end of the third day but having a four day weekend was nice.. On Oct 1st I get cut back to five days so I'm excited about that.

But yea, a four day work week should be the standard..

Thought you said you were old?  You're still working more than 5 days per week?

It’s a tough sell. That’s where I’m at now looking for a different job. Companies don’t know how to deal with you wanting to only work 4 days for total of 32. One company is offering 2k sign on, and this is the best it’s only if you work 40. I told them I don’t care about the bonus, to them that’s head scratcher.

Next fun problem is getting them to agree that you’d take added weeks of vacation without pay. Another head scratcher to them. You want what, to take time off without a check.

I work 4 days every other week with Friday off - it's nice.   But the hybrid schedule I'm on (2 or 3 days remote, 2 days in office) is perfect.
