The tires on my work truck only have 13721 miles on them, I already replace one because the sidewall split, I've had 5 or 6 plugs put in them and now the back right has 7 pin holes in it, so small you can't see them when you wipe the bubbles away.

Waiting to get 4 new ones rite now .

Wife just made apt at costco for 2 rear tires in her minivan.  Michelins.  175 a tare!

Why did the sidewalls split?  Defect?

I guess so, they're just cheap flimsy POS lol

The back one are almost half worn out allready.

4 new Michelins on the truck.  Best 1600$ I spent this summer!

I never understood how people can tell the difference from one tire to another, at least in terms of performance.  Road noise or snow, sure.

I document everything I do on my truck (I do 99%) of repairs

every brake job, wheel bearing, caliper, rotors, brakes and tires is recorded and at what mileage past 2 sets of Firestone I got 50-60k

If this is your reference to performance, then yes. :th:

60k or so on my first set of conti pros on the benz.  Meanwhile i dont think my wife got 25k on the firestones, but could be wrong.  We might have lut those on the rear and only replaced the fronts.  Dont recall
