Looks like they're going to get plowed this weekend.  Keep in mind that Hurricane Juan caused severe damage in the Halifax area as a category 1 storm with an estimated central pressure at landfall of 973mb.  As-modelled, Fiona's central pressure at landfall is the same as Hurricane Andrew's - in the low 920s.  I wonder what Sable Island's going to look like afterwards.....
