Mask Etiquette Advice

So I get an E-Mail from a Committee Chair person  reminding members of a meeting, see attached agenda etc…

At the end of the email it’s noted that one of the committee members has requested that everyone mask up for the meeting (?!)

In real life I’m a person that generally does what he can to avoid even minor conflict or controversy and petty drama

Im thinking I’m probably going to decline and suggest that if the member feels strongly he or she can wear a well fitted fresh KN95 or make try to make arrangements to attend remotely… otherwise,  I’m out

What do you guys think

Oh yeah, so out.

Mask bros are going to become a protected class.

Tread carefully.  You'll wimd up getting named in the Epli suit for creating a hostile workplace.

It’s bizarre that I should need to be concerned about potential blowback.. but it’s a consideration

Without explanation?

You are probably right but it feels a little passive aggressive maybe

IS joining remotely an option?

If so, I would suggest that mask boy take it, if not I would just decline.

Your suggestion that the mask requester wear a specific mask and/or attend remotely isn't passive aggressive though.

You could attend wearing a mask, which won't kill you and in doing so decide whether the issue or your need to take a stand is the priority.

You're not being asked to wear a dress after all.
