Van Staal Reels FS - (2) VS 250 B & (1) VS 200 S

Finally thinning out some of my tackle.  After 45 yrs in the surf/rocks, don't fish as hard. So, no longer need extra back-ups 'for my back-ups' .

SOL's been a great resource of information, source of comfort for me, and place to buy/sell/trade within a trusted group.  I'll be posting other reels and plugs, in the next few days/weeks.

 

UPDATE: ALL REELS SOLD, PENDING PAYMENT.

 

For Sale:

• (2) VS 250 B new reels w/ used spools (no, not extra spools...the original spools were taken out used as back-ups for other VS 250 reels being fished)
• (1) VS 200 S used reel & spool, excellent condition.

      *All come with original boxes and VS reel bags.

$500 each  *PICK-UP ONLY on Long Island...Montauk to Nassau; or I'm in the Paramus NJ area 2x a week.

Reels 1 & 2 -  VS 250 B (general info):   BOTH SOLD, PENDING PAYMENT

• Reels are NEW, never registered & never fished - never made into rotation
  • Consecutive serial #s 23046 & 23047
  • Even have original shipping boxes delivered to Rivers End Tackle from VS
  • Took out of bags & boxes for pictures below, and to show serial #s
• *Spools for these reels were used.  Taken out of reel boxes and used as back-ups for my other 250 reels on several outings.
  • Spools are in great shape and have only minor use rash.

 

• Reel 1 - VS 250 B serial # 23046 
  • New reel in box
    • Original box and VS reel bag
  • Spool was taken out of box used as back-up...has Yozuri Super Braid 50lb (blue)

 

• Reel 2 - VS 250 B serial # 23047
  • New reel in box
    • Original box and VS reel bag
    • Reel was handled out of box, but only taped to rod blanks for guide layouts I was redoing in the past.
  • Spool was taken out of box and used as back-up...has Jerry Brown Braid 40lb (red)

 

$500 each - brand new reel w/ great shape spool. 

 

 

Reel 3 - VS 200 S:  - SOLD PENDING PAYMENT

• Used, but excellent condition reel
• Serial # 14463
  • 10/10 mechanically; 9/10 cosmetically
• I traded a BNIB VS 150 w/ another SOL member for this reel, years ago.  Stayed in it's box, as it never made it into rotation either.
• Minor rash spot on bottom edge of reel & usual used blemishes, as shown in pic.

$500 for excellent shape reel and spool.
